Apart from that it works great for the phone but won't charge my smart watch so that's a bit disappointing.

Works great as a desk charging station for my pixel 8 pro and pixel buds pro, i haven't had any issues sounding the charging coils.
It looks and feels high quality, and doesn't seem to get too warm.
The plug is permanently attached to the cable, and the end that plugs into the charging station is non-standard.
It seems pretty sturdy, but if the cable is damaged it might be challenging to find a suitable replacement.

Then it hit me wrong plug for the uk so i had to buy a travel adaptor to make it work
