It does light up way beyond but not so you can see anything in detail very good support with regards to this product this was found to be faulty and replaced with out any fuss and also upgraded from 4 mp to 5mp the support remote team logged into the system and was unable to cure the problem because the camera was showing darker than normal thus the device was replaced would i buy from them again yes with support like this lovely spec it take any plate no that mess around my car during the day but the night is not because of light dazzle great camera and top quality however it would be nice if it had a builtin mic to record sound just like somne of the cheaper model reolink cameras have
