I am not sure how it will hold up if the ipad is dropped and dont want to test it out either the plastic seems a bit cheap but with the tempered glass covering the screen i think it would be ok

The only issue is when you fold the cover into a triangle to use it as a stand the magnet doesnt hold very well

The pressure from the ipad will hold it in place but once you move it the cover pops out of the triangle configuration

Unfortunately this case does not fit the ipad mini 2 correctly

Furthermore the magnetic over to turn off the screen barely works with the ipad mini since its probably not in the right place for the ipad to detect it
