However if you tilt the dock yes it raises the screen but it angles it more horizontally so if you want it higher and facing directly at you instead of tilting away you need a box or something to stand it on

It also holds the ipad vertically ok for video callsthe way the camera is positioned you need it vertical for video callsit is secure in vertical position but not as stable and recommend the horizontal placement

Bought this at the start of the coronavirus lockdown to use for video calling and general ipadphone use
