After recently dropping and breaking the glass and digitizer of my previous 5s i purchased a case that will probably protect it from a direct strike by a missile but added about 12 all the way around the phone and about 6 ounces to the weight

The case that was on my phone when it broke looks somewhat similar to the obliq xtreme but it was of a softer material

When the phone hit on edge the soft case compressed enough to nick the edge of the screen and it was all over

The same thing seems unlikely to happen with the obliq case

It has adequate protection but it leaves the front of the case basically unprotected
