The new one has a much harder shell probably an improvement but it is next to impossible to take it apart and get the phone out

Other company cases i won’t mention names usually fall short in four ways1 the case might charge phone but the outer charging port micro usb cannot be used for data only the charging pins are used2 the case doesn’t work well or advertised

I can’t get a full recharge of phone from battery pack3 the case really does not fully protect phone for instance the front lip of case is not elevated relative to front of phone so glass not protected if face down4 the charging port breaks after a small amount of plugging in and outtrianium atomic pro is first case that has none of these problems

The good news both cases got replaced under warranty because they had lifetime warranries
