I would imagine the case would withstand a drop without cracking im not going to test it but i would also imagine if the wallet case was closed my phone would be fine if i dropped it

The case is just slightly too thick and narrow at the charging base

Phone snapped in perfectly i worried about the tab closure being in the way when talking on the phone but the back of the case has a magnet as does the tab so when the case is opened the tab magnetically attaches to the back out of the way
