The device does a pass thru charge meaning if the atomic pro and the device are dead plugging in a charging cable charges both devices at once so no disassembly required to charge the case

The first one was another brand and within a month of having it it stopped holding any sort of charge and i would literally have to take my phone out in order to get it to charge so i was pretty hesitant to make the investment to buy another with no guarantee that the same wouldnt happen

Update under one year later the case is broken and i have tried contacting the company through email about warranty but no responseupdate 2 company responded and send a new case
