I started off with a flimsy matte plastic protector but it wasnt strong enough and screwed up some of my finger movements when i typed

The tempered glass helps keep things together in case i drop it and the clear finish make the display seem like there is no protector at all

My only suggestion is to make sure the screen is very clean before applying it which isnt difficult because in the kit includes an alcohol swab and microfibre cloth

When you flip over the protector to put it in place it will stick almost immediately so be sure on your alignments

Once the protector was stuck on it didnt need much smoothing everything just sort of fell into place
