Im a potter and make my own mugs so no problem but i like large mugs with loads of tea and then this teapot doesnt work

To solve this problem i put the lid on the strainer upside down and then flip it over to use as a saucer but it doesnt fit or stay put as a lid as well in this orientation

The lid to this product is heavy and great qualitybut the bottom portion isnt the same material its lighter and feels cheaper

It works fine however it doesnt cover the entire rim of your standard mug

So if you were brewing tea or coffee and wanted to cover the strainer with its lid only part of your mug will be covered

But the lip is not wide enough to sit on the edge of any cups

Way cool soaked fine ground coffee in it and hardly anything came through the holes are extremely small
