Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons

Pros

Just spoon loose tea leaves and pour. It’s super easy to rinse too! Cleaning is easy.

Filter is very fine so you don't have to worry about the leaves seeping into your tea while its steeping. The mesh is fine enough that there's no worry of leaves escaping. The fine mesh inside even blocks all of the sediment.

I see this lasting me a year of regular use - which would be satisfactory. My only regret is that i didn't find it earlier. Construction is good.

It is properly priced for a high quality tea strainer. purchasing another one, they're so great! Would definitely buy again.

Cons

It's too fine to strain coffee. It leaks micro plastics and grains through the bag. It no longer drains.

Quality

Very good product doesn’t rust so far i’m happy 😃

Works well with fine grind and does not leave grinds on the bottom of the cup.

Made myself a blend of coffee determined amount, may take trial and error, in filter cup to get a great mug of coffee.

It has very small holes around and at the bottom of the filter, making it easy to strain.

Price

Easy to rinse out and a great price for 2.

Time will tell but seems to be a nice buy for the $

Not to mention the cost for the pods is typically more than the cost for ground coffee.

Packaging/appearance

It is easy to pack for traveling.

Competitiveness

This filter is a wonderful alternative to a french press.

This is a major improvement over the older ss steeper that were designed for the smaller tea cups.

This makes it a little bit more difficult to clean but it works better than any other infuser i've tried.

Being really tall has the advantage of being able to steep your already used tea again with a little more fresh tea added to the mix

I can do it three to four times before totally filled and have to be emptied

As with all tea filters over time there was some build up tea residue so the water could not flow through as easy but a soak in some bleachy water for a while solved that easily
