Pros

Iqair provides air cleaning for surgery theaters and hospitals. I keep this air purifier in my basement where the cat litter boxes are and there is a marked improvement in smell and feel of the air there.

Installation is a bit tricky but has an excellent seal when completed. Easy to install—factory original replacement.

Iq air is one of two air purifier brands that pay extra attention to removing harmful gases (smog) iq air filter running cost is very low compared to other purifiers. Love iq air cleaner.

Cons

Be careful when unwrapping the v5 cell filter as there is a lot of loose charcoal dust. The hepa filter (top filter) lasts the longest, about a year. It is promoted as lasting up to 2 years.

When you change out the filter, you reset the clock on each filter. This issue has been there from as early as 2011 and it is still not solved after 11 years. I'm perplexed and can't seem to figure out why this is happening.

I just went with the factory filter as my unit is still under warranty.
