The wheels glide easily on both hard floors and low pile carpets. The plastic is not too flimsy and should hold up with proper care. It's very sturdy.

Overall, the unit is quite lightweight. It’s not suitable for anything heavy. Main issue is that we could not tell how sturdy it would be until we assembled it.

The frame snaps together and the drawers slide inside. What was causing the top drawer from sliding easily is the top surface has been squashed down. As you go down to the lower drawers it becomes even more difficult to bend.
