Plastic is semi-transparent so you can lable the containers. And they close securely. Overall very happy with the sturdiness and quality of material.
Cons
The locking clasp on each individual container and on the unit as a whole are very fiddly. Sometimes it locks, sometimes it doesn't. The latches pop open and never really latch.
Tried to replace it again. Printed out the shipping label, packaged it up, dropped it off at ups. Revived a notification that the second replacement was cancelled a day before it was scheduled to arrive. I feel that proper packaging could have prevent... Read More

Have tried several other brands making these items, but none can compare to the quality of these craft keepers.
I'm very happy with the product and the outstanding service.
There's an issue with the back left corner that i can't seem to figure out but it just refuses close.
Price
The boxes were exactly what i expected -- low cost, hard plastic photo storage.
Shipping
I had 2 that were damaged during shipping.
The shipping box wasn't damaged so i think this happened either when being handled during packaging or storage.
Packaging/appearance
The one that was cracked on the bottom box looked like it probably happened loading the top box on it during packaging.
Competitiveness
This is a high-quality storage box made of very heavy, durable plastic.
I ordered a 2-pack of the iris 4"x6" storage keepers mainly for storing my seed packets.
Bonus, it is made here, in the usa!

Was disappointed at first because 1 of them arrived cracked and damaged and it took a very long time for us to hear back from the seller about exchanging it for another

The only thing that has been extremely frustrating is that the handle and the lock for the case is next to each other and i have grabbed the lock when picking up the box more times than i would like to admit causing all the smaller boxes inside to fall
