Pros

The contrast of the white on black is the easiest to read. I like how they stamped the sizes on the back side also. My only complaint is that the hole sizes are marked with a paint that tends to rub off making it more difficult to discern the size.

Metal construction. Very sturdy item.

Good quality gauge. Handy gauge at a fair price. Will buy again.

Cons

The lettering is stamped in one side but hard to read due to the black paint. Plastic packaging pulls off the ink from the face of the product upon opening. The numbers are not etched as advertised, but are printed instead and will come off quickly.

Really disappointed. Such poor quality. Lasted 2 months. Shame irwin. Not worth the $.

High quality metal product and is much better than my old plastic drill size gauge.

I'm just not sure what they were thinking with the paint though.

World class quality is the corporation's goal and when i have the option to choose a product, i defer to irwin.
