These are the chisels i recommend to people new to woodworking. Got it on the recommendation of wranglerstar. I am really just using these to clear out waste efficiently. Would recommend them to anyone.
This set comes with three chisels and a mallet. They are very well shaped for both hand paring, and mallet work. The new handle shape is very good in that the flatter * end is nice to bump with the heel of your hand.
I have over 50 chisels in my every day rotation, mostly vintage/antique that are from great makers. This set is amazing.
They seem to be decently well made little tools. Good set to get you started with hand-crafting wood projects, i reckon.

Consoil from the blades started eating the handles leaving blue goo on everything see photosblades are shaped like boomerangs see photoshandles were super grimey and the blades are all scratched from the factorymallet is made for people with square handsprossteel seems good quality even though they are scratched and not straightmallet is wood so you can sand down the handle edges if you do not have square handscase is ok pain to get the zip ties off thoughwranglerstar approvedi wouldnt pay 50 for these again but 3540 would be a good deal
