The book dives deeply into the darkness and beauty of humanity. A deeply thoughtful, disturbing and yet uplifting book.

Author also diminishes atrocities of ustasas, hardly mentions them. And oh, the ego of the author to use the narrative to exalt the poetic genius of lasta. Hard to get into.
