It plugs into the charging port of your device and stays there, even if the port is on the bottom of your device.
It lost only one of its power indicator dots for that amount of charge.

This unit has a round body instead of the tapered body of the other iwalk chargers

The thickness is the same but it does feel a little bulkier in the hand because of the round format

I prefer the tapered neither one is uncomfortable if you have to charge the phone while using it
