    This cable is awesome it has a much thinner plastic bit that the contacts are adhered to situated in the center of the usb a end of the plug and when you put it in to the port that piece of plastic flexes either way to allow contacts regardless of orientation

    But a note to past reviewers regarding durability if you abuse the cable the connection between the cord and the plug will suffer
