First i had a car mount with a spring and it lasted a while but it was annoying trying to get the phone out in a rush and the spring eventually popped out

Then i purchased a magnetic air vent mount but the part that held onto the air vent became week in a matter of weeks and i was back to nothing

But beside to include the plastic ring that locks the pad into place or you’ll have to unsnap it all and resnap increase your chances of breaking a plastic component

The mount does come with two pieces of metal one of which you will attach to your phone so the magnet has something to grab onto
