Pros

Lid is easy to clean, has a nice weight, and keeps splatter to a bare minimum. Can be easily cleaned in dishwasher. Easy cleanup is easy, but you have to take a few more seconds to make sure nothing is stuck in the ridges.

Lid fits cast iron skillet. Also fits stew pot. I appreciate the flexibility with the lid sizing.

It's great that i can use this for three different pans i own without having to have multiple lids filling the cupboards.

Cons

It's advertised as fitting 11, 12, and 12. It's barely big enough that you can sort of wedge it into the pan if you're very careful to line it up.

Quality

I have a smaller version of this lid for my smaller pans and bought this one without much hesitation due to the quality of the smaller one.

No steam leakage around the edges and helps with the cooking.

While the product *description* says universal design can fit 10, 11 or 12 pots and pans.

So, i guess i can put up with the fact that we now need only one lid, for all our stove top braising, frying, stewing, etc.

Price

The lid feel very sturdy and the price was fair.

Packaging/appearance

I also like the vent holes and the fact they can be put in the dishwasher.
