Pros

It can yield excellent sound. Works great for connecting an echo dot (2nd gen) to an old cambridge soundworks speaker system.

Not many vendors do that these days with as much courtesy as j&d has. A 3.

The quality of the cable is excellent, nice and heavy, less chance of fraying. My only complaint is that the tip got bent very easily.

Cons

I'm sure i just got a dud, but after just sitting on my desk with light use for less than a month, this adapter causes my right speaker to crackle. Appeared to be high quality but failed at the 3.
