Pros
This is what my grandma used on me and my siblings. Amazon consistently has it for a great price.
The smell is nice and strong and it is effective. Plus, the smell is a lot nicer in my opinion. I like this alternative to mentholatum but the scent smells somewhat plastic.
This reminds me of the old mentholated ointment. Not as strong as the vicks used to be, but still better than what i could find at the store. Much better than vicks vaporub.
Cons
This product is extremely weak in concentration. It somewhat expectedly has little effect at getting rid of pain or congestion.

That was in the 70s and the quality is still just as good.
Price
The price was extremely comparable to its regular size based on per ounce pricing.
Competitiveness
This will last a lot longer than my same size mentholatum because you barely have to use any.
My grandmother and mother always bought this along with other watkins products from the traveling watkins rep.

Glad to read that others have found it helpful for pain so that confirms to me that the lower camphor and lack of petrolatum does not change that
