Pros & Cons

Pros

This repeater works. Flawless so far. Support exactly delivers what the specifications said. Delivery on timely to my friend address.

You turn on the source components first and turn the front projector last for them to shake hands. It is self powered off of the hdmi bus so there is no additional power required. Runs 3d signal to a projector without noticeable signal degradation.

The metal case one is the new version. The j-tech digital hdmi 2. Arc signal as well. Not a single hickup or signal loss.

Cons

Ft that it could not extend the range to (less than half advertised). Not able to verify any of the modes of video beyond the 1. Arrived dead. Tried various different cables to no avail. The device does not work for 4k at all.

Quality

Greatly improved the quality of picture using a 35 foot cable.

It is a unbelievable product works awesome

To my dismay, it said it got enough quality for 1080, but when i went to test 4k, it was unable to see a picture.

Prior to the j-tech, i tried a ugreen repeater, but it didn't work with the exact same setup, so i returned it.

Price

Confirmed 4k@60fps, 4:4:4, arc, all work and for this price is hard to come by, don't mind the few seconds of dropped input for...  Read More

Competitiveness

I have a 50ft hdmi cord going from my receiver to the tv.

I placed my extender at the end of a 25ft cable and attached a 20 foot cable to the other end and it works perfectly!

Not good for 50 feet cable lenght.

Needed to add a 25ft hdmi extension cable to an oculus rift, and the cable by itself wouldn't work.
