Pros & Cons
Pros
Used it for connecting sega saturn, and sega cd consoles to smart hdmi tv. The colors are more vibrant with j-tech device, and had to make minor smart tv picture changes for all to look good. The component and composite video are a different story.
This box is a little pricey but i feel it is a good value. Easy to setup, works excellent. Thank you to nathan who contacted me and handled my issue.
Cons
The analog-to-digital audio converter scales the volume way too loud. With this j-tech device connected, my pal and ntsc signals scroll vertically making the display unusable.
When you load up the menu it works fine, but then going to one of the older games just produces the blank screen on boot. Second lost power while in standby.
Highlights
Quality
Bought it, works as i need it to, great quality!
I have older but perfectly excellent working equipment that just doesn't have a hdmi port.
… unless i’m missing something, every analog video source is 4:3 stretched to 16:9.
The audio didn't pass thru from my verizon fios one box.
Price
For the price, i can't believe i was able to find a scaler this good!
I bought a spare; and i think it cost more the second time, otherwise may have given it 5.
