Very happy with the product so far!
No loss of image quality or lag to report.
I shall add that the tv is at the end of a 50 ft long hdmi cable, so i was worried i would either have no signal or image quality issue.
I wanted the tv to be watchable by the wife when i wasn't home without needing to turn on or deal with the xbox one.

Then when i was home i watch tv through the xbox one and was tired and having to move the hdmi cable back and forth

I havent messed around with anything else but i dont see why it wouldnt be able to split any other hdmi signal into two
