Have purchase several of these - not sure why the price fluctuates so much - but purchase when these are $17.

Packaging/appearance

One thing that i did notice is how warm the j-tech hdmi splitter got.

Connect whatever you want as the number one hdmi and when you turn on that device, the j-tech switch's to that port.

Competitiveness

Works as described in converting a single hmdi output into two outputs.

I use it to split a signal out of my surround receiver to two differnt 4k tvs.

I am powering two samsung tv's one on a 6ft hdmi and the other on a 75ft hdmi.

Update: j-tech digital noticed the review and sent me out a new unit without me even asking> great service!
