Pros

Audio extractor sits between the video source via hdmi and the projector. Allows you to plug in the headphones unit for wireless audio to the headphones. Complete plug and play for my roku.

Video is hd clear and audio great. I recommend it if you’re having trouble with bluetooth not connecting.

Cons

This thing is worthless. It has confusing/poor instructions which initially made setup difficult. Instructions for setup are not clear. Poor customer service as well.

Will not connect properly to pioneer plasma. Usually switching inputs, then switching back fixes it…. The optical digital to headphones worked for 2 weeks and quit.

I found several possible solutions but none would work with this product.

I also tried a different roku with the same results.

Packaging/appearance

Previous device did not work as advertised, this one did right out of the box!

Switched to tv and turn off the arc button on the j-tech.

Competitiveness

This device stays much cooler, hence heat kills electronics i expect it to last longer than its competition.

I used this product to connect a projector to a soundbar along with connecting chrome cast

I suspect that this is an issue with roku and not with this device so for now at least, i'll be watching with a firestick.

1 signal from this device to a non-hdmi receiver was to set the switch on the j-tech unit to “tv”.
