Simple to use, inexpensive and very discreet. Good and sturdy. Works exactly as advertised.
Cons
Overall, its a decent product but just not compatible for me. If you put a 1080p monitor or projector in the hdmi 2 position, dolby vision no longer works on the 4k tv.

Suspect it was due to the handling of edid.
To further complicate things, i am using a 50ft fiber hdmi cable to my 4k samsung and even that is working perfectly.

I was able to split a 4k signal in two

Split the dtv signal to 4k hdr and 1080 however had to change audio to basic sound

My early generation lg oled tv does not support earc and limited the optical output to stereo for some hdmi inputs

As i was successful i didnt try mixed mode as it is implied that may not work with dolby vision
