At 1st i thought my case had scratches on it when i opened the pkg but noticed i had to peel the thin plastic lining off the front and back which is hard to see at first

The edges on the corners are raised so the back of the phone does not touch if you lay it on a table

The sides absorb shock and the back is a tougher plastic thats pretty hard to scratch
