Pros & Cons
Pros
They sound incredibly clear, have really good noise cancellation, enter very light and comfortable. The sound is good for the price. No noticeable distortion. Instrument separation is good, and clarity is decent.
Outbound voice quality is good, but not the best i've had with earbuds. Open and expansive. They function pretty well for me as a dragon mic for dictation too.
They fit securely in the ears with little risk of falling out and loss. They fit my ears like they were engineered for my ear canal personally. The silicone tips are slightly smaller.
These are worth every dime. They have already outlasted any others i’ve tried. The only thing left is to see if they are durable and long lasting.
The battery life is a strong 7 hours, with 28 hours through qi wireless or through the plug. Playtime per charge lasts many hours. The case on the 5s also supports wireless charging.
Cons
What's this, not even 6 mos? Do not buy. Despite my attempts to troubleshoot and reconnect, it no longer connects to my device. Must be a defective design of some kind.
Right earbud broke in less than a month. Only reliable way to reconnect the audio capability is by having my phone forget these buds and manually reconnect. Not as useful as the cambridge audio melomania 1, another set long in the trash for its showst... Read More
Highlights
Quality
Calls also have great sound quality, on both ends.
The sound quality is excellent, my husband uses them for gaming and it sounds great.
I've charged the case once over the last 2 weeks and it still has 10% battery so it stays charged when not in use fairly well.
My ears are clean and the buds look clean but the volume is so software i cannot hear teh sound from my iphone when i work out.
Price
The price was right, the sound is good and the jabra ear buds stay in my ears while exercising.
Overall the buds are worth the money you pay
Competitiveness
I would say the elite 5's compare well to the bose quietcomfort gen 1 earbuds.
They’re barely releasing a new set this month, that barely compares or is barely catching up to jabra and every thing they offer.
Yes, they are just as expensive as airpods; but nothing can compare when it comes to the earbud lane.
I can't detect that the 5's are better than the 3's.
