Overall just super pleased with the quality, definitely an upgrade from the previous pair i owned.

The product detail states the ear pieces have a leather like feel.

While boosting the bass did provide additional bass, the loss on the high end was unacceptable.

I bought these on my own dime and it was very well worth the price.
