Pros & Cons
Pros
The jackson galaxy 2 door top load kennel makes it a breeze to get your cats into a carrier to go to the vet. If you have a difficult cat, the top loader is the way to go. The top door latch is secure and able to hold his weight at 14lbs. There are st... Read More
It is a very sturdy crate but i still would not trust the top loading lid to always stay shut when carrying it. The entire carrier is extremely sturdy, including the handle.
Cons
Dayum cat daddy, you let me down. I see a few white specks on the blue part, which look more like a random paint spatter (hey dexter) flimsy plastic used in construction.

Quality
I was very impressed with the quality when it arrived.

Competitiveness
I needed a new top-load carrier for our latest addition and found this to be the best looking option for the price.
I'd say the 19 carrier is for a small pet no more than 10lbs.

In this regard the jackson galaxy 2 door top load kennel worked perfectly and id give it five stars except for one extremely irritating issue
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
It should have required at most about 5 minutes to assemble the cage
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
But it took me 30 minutes thanks to the fact that the plastic wing nuts that hold the upper and lower parts of the cage together wouldnt screw on the corresponding metal bolts
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
The wing nuts were not properly tapped for the bolts nor were they adequately drilled
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
After trying to force the nuts onto bolts temporarily held in a pair of pliers i gave up and redrilled all of the nuts which then worked adequately

That was pretty lame for a cage that cost over 50 with tax

I didnt want to order this because its pricey

But my 14lb cat could barely squeeze his hips past the door of his 20 carrier even though overall the carrier had plenty of interior space for him both horizontally and vertically
