I use it as directed when using procion dyes and it seems to work fine but it is still necessary to go through 34 wash cycles to get all of the dye out of a freshly batch

Before synthropol we had to wash all of the dye out of each shirt

Then into a full washer with cold water and the recommended amount of synthropol
