Pros

This mat is much kinder to my knees and wrists than thinner mats. It gives me adequate cushioning and traction. It provides more cushion and anti slippery than all other yoga mats i have used.

Yrs of yoga, no mold/mildew issues and no funky stench. There is a slight rubber smell to it, but it's not overpowering.

It is a thick mat but it fits perfectly in my tote bag and it's not too heavy to take to class. It is heavier, and needed a new strap, as it would not fit in my old bag.

The sticky-ness of the mat is outstanding. It also stays flat (as opposed to bunching in the middle). The natural rubber has a good hand feel and stickiness. It is also extremely “sticky,” so it is even easier to ground down.

My first mat is still usable but has a little bit of disintegration on the surface. My jade yoga matte continues to be fantastic for 2.

Cons

The quality of this item is inferior to the last 4 of these i've purchased over the years. The smell is very strong and sharp and the smell is not related to rubber material. It is bulky and hard to carry. I hope that jade yoga can make this right.

I just wanted to change up the color and it was losing a little bit of the grippiness.

Price is pretty steep, but after two months i'm quite satisfied, and would buy it again.

For the cost, i'm surprised it didn't come with even a simple band to keep it rolled up.
