The cooker has a warm setting which it automatically goes onto at the end of the cooking cycle

On high after several hours the liquid was boiling although the lid keeps it in so boiling dry was unlikely it was getting a bit thick on the bottom

I tried to measure the temp with my sugar jam thermometer which is not easy as the lid can’t close
