Our first roast was a small joint of beef for four people sadly overcooked and shrunken plonked in the middle the board making it appear even smaller

I think it’d be an improvement if they provided a little bottle of kitchen board oil with it as if someone forgets to put it on it’s a waste of a beautiful piece of wood

The grooves can be quickly cleaned out with some kitchen roll and the board itself should be hand washed with soapy water

Our joseph joseph plastic carving board was looking a real mess – when you carve through meat you also tend to cut through the plastic spikes making them look a mess and very difficult to clean
