Cons

I was fooled by the jansport brand on this one. The stitching around the strap area comes loose and then the strap falls off and there is a big hole in the top of the bag. Do not buy this jansport bag.

I snagged this baby up at a great price.

You can get it almost 20$ cheaper at big 5 sporting goods, great backpack though!

Packaging/appearance

At first i thought this backpack was gonna be too big, but after "strategically" re-packing my stuff i found it to be pretty amazing.

The reddish/maroon color is as pictured and spot on.

Competitiveness

Jansport is one of the only companies that has the same quality now that it had 20 years ago.
