Pros & Cons
Pros
Each gelatin capsule contains 1,200 mg of oil providing 240 mg of gamma-linolenic acid. The capsules are large and may be difficult for some to *. Each soft gel contains 1200mg borage oil which contains 240mg gla.
It's not the cheapest product out there but the quality seems excellent. Soft glowing skin. It also compares favorably price-wise.

Taking borage oil has been a blessing to my skin. Changing to a mostly vegetarian and dairy-free diet and taking estroblock and thorne sat, has contributed to this.
Cons
Jarrow formula is a dud. Taking these resulted in seriously disordered sleep for me. Oils go rancid.
Highlights
Quality
A great addition to lotions/ regular skin maintenance.
Used together with regular eyedrops and fish oil, my lasik-induced dry eye has improved considerably.
Once i stopped for 3 days and my arthritis flared up again.
The bottle i received expires in about two years.
Price
Good supplement, cheaper than my vitamin store previous version.
But i do know it's not hurting and at this price point it's not hurting my wallet either.
64 per bottle for 120 softgels it doesn't seem all that expensive.
Competitiveness
Tried other brands and they don't work and sometimes cause nightmares.
I have had generally positive experiences with jarrow supplements and this one is no different.
As such, this jarrow formulas borage softgels compare to other similar products on the market.
I decided to try borage oil because it has an even higher content of gla, just to see if maybe this time i could get the hair benefits.
