I have used his guides to get started with a variety of programming languages and this guide for learning javascript has proven a valuable startof all the programming languages to get started with javascript is a definite must for beginning programmers and ray yao does a wonderful job breaking the concepts down into manageable chunks for someone starting from scratch
I highly recommend this book if you are a beginner in learning javascript or you want to further your existing knowledge of the subject
