Pros & Cons
Pros
Using this dryer hasdefinately made a difference in print quality. I print straight from the box and keep the heat running for the whole print. This ensures that my filament is dry, flexible enough to avoid snapping.
Review is for the jayo filament dryer (filadryer s1) it works well enough to keep filament dry while it's being used. This pla 3d filament dryer does exactly what it is intended to do and does so quietly. It reduces the amount of moisture in your fila... Read More
It has rollers in the bottom so your printer can unspool filament as needed. The filament comes on a recycled spool which is great and helps reduce plastic waste. Came on a cardboard spool and was well wound.
Inside the dryer is a curved heating plate, protected by a silver semicircle of aluminum, and two rollers. The dryer comes with a number of ptfe sleeves that can be inserted in the holes, and these work ok.
Cons
The most fragile and brittle filament i've ever used. Loaded up yellow, seemed fine, started a 12 hour print, woke up and again the filament was not rolled correctly.
As im loading it down tube it breaks, and as im pulling it out breaks again. I understand i can return it but this has wasted so much of my time already. Will not be ordering again.
Highlights
Quality
I was very surprised at the quality.
06 nozzle and the part quality is excellent and strong.
My print quality was decent but not amazing with this, and i didn't have any layer adhesion issues that couldn't be chalked up ... Read More
The product you will have to look on my reviews to find it but it mends small pieces of filament together so none is waisted.
Price
For now, good product for a decent price.
This is what i would consider a standard low cost pla filament.
Packaging/appearance
So right out of the box, it has a nice, clean look, but you can also appreciate much less waste.
First thing is straight out of the factory packaging you want to use a filament dryer and get any moisture out.
Competitiveness
Great product, and it's cheaper than it's competitors, who are selling basically the exact same stuff.
Printing at the typical 210c pla temp seems just about right.

The eight random colors out of 23 possible colors i received varied moderately and were vibrant

I really dislike when so many different types of products are under the same review heading

Unfortunately the articulated hands didn’t want to stay attached to the arms after it was removed from the bed not sure if that is the filament shrinking or the print itself
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
The small pieces printed fine no problems but when i printed the side arms the upper right corners did not stay adhered after the first five layers or so and pulled away from the bed chamfering the piece

If i have time i’ll reprint those pieces and see if they come out differently

On both prints though there was quite a bit of stringing
