Pros

Subwoofer is a beast and sounds great even on the first of five settings. This bar out performs them all. If using in stereo and not removing the side speakers as surround sound channels it measures a massive 54 inches in length.

The jbl app is simple and intuitive. The app is well programed. The settings are largely automated with a few manual settings.

The sound quality is amazing and the thumping bass can't be beat. The subwoofer is the bomb, crazy bass! Live die edge of tomorrow - phenomenal, bass as well.

Setup and connectivity was a breeze. With the satellites connected to the main bar, there is never any issues. After set up and auto calibration this system is great.

Cons

The sound quality is amazing and the thumping bass can't be beat.

Voice quality is good and the bass sounds a lot more balanced.

Sound quality is geared for movie soundtracks rather than music.

I played around with the 3 band equalizer but could not dial in a natural setting.

Price

The price is a bit high, but then again, this sound bar is for a larger rooms.

The best part of this purchase was buying it during black friday for $700 off regular price.

Packaging/appearance

The surround speakers are charged by placing them onto the soundbar where they are held in place by very strong magnets.

But after the phone app showed the firmware was updated, the soundbar sat on "wait" for several more minutes.

Competitiveness

This soundbar is the best competition out there imo.

I replaced a smaller soundbar and had to get a heavy duty soundbar tv bracket.
