Pros

The jbl is vast improvement in build, sound and connection reliability. Overall - very pleased with a few caveats. Packaging is excellent so no issues in that respect. Reckon it's a good buy at this price point.

The sound quality is quite good with a very good treble performance and a fair bass (limited to about 70 hz and above) the sound is adequate and definately doesn't shake the floor. Good enough for any living room.

Easy to install (no separate psu just uk 3 pin plug)connect to hdmi arc or tos link. Easy to set up (had to turn the tv off, then on again to work properly) it’s also controllable from my fire tv remote after programming. No tone adjustment at all the... Read More

Clear vocal range. Clear dialogue. Clear moves amd music.

Bass isn't earth shattering but isn't over powering. Has enough rumble/bass to enhance the action sequences.

Cons

It's completely hollow in the mids, very little bass and even conversation sounds tinny. Same on bluetooth and arc. Can't recommend for movies let alone for music.

The samsung was tempremental with its connection to the tv and i was never convinced the sound quality was that good.

The build in sound quality of my pc/monitor was not good.

Price

Jbl have given me the sound that i wanted at a very reasonable price.

It works well and was a great price.

Packaging/appearance

Packaging is excellent so no issues in that respect.

Competitiveness

Great soundbar if your on a budget, with a lound volume and great bass to.

I use this in a home cinema set-up wireless connection from a firestick plugged into a projector.

Quite a few soundbars i've heard sound processed and over emphasise the bass.

This soundbar doesn't have eight speakers or six.
