Pros
It's well-suited for smaller vehicles (think compact/subcompact sedans not duallys) inverted it under the rear bench seat to get a lil extra out of it.
Amp kits comes with ring terminals, but * terminals are a bit more versatile. The bass for the sub is also maxed out. It looks like a gaming console, but this sub/amp provided more than i was expecting.
The subwoofer puts out tight, punchy bass and comes with a variety of settings that make fine tuning easy. It provides just enough power and bass to even out the sound and give concert quality audio in a small spaces.
Not as impressive as a 12 sub but good sound from a sealed 8 sub. Will not rattle the windows but will produce a great mid and low bass. One thing about this is that it doesn't have a car shaking ability.

Cons
Not my first sub, so. Definitely going to return this and get myself something else. Bass is non-existence in this speaker. No bass control for that price. Sounded like complete garbage.

Price
It sounds amazing and for the price you can't beat the quality
But with that said, for the price, size, etc it’s a great product.
But if you want some extra bass to add to your stock system, pay the money for this.
Packaging/appearance
The box was resealed when i got it.
Nice to have amp and sub in one small package
Competitiveness
First off, my installer says this jbl is better than the similar kicker model.
- slim design- there are cheaper versions from other brands, but this one is definitely worth the money.
My buddy has the same size but different brand and this blows it away.
It may cost a bit more than its competitors but harman (jbl's parent company) makes quality products.

It kicks harder than i thought it’s a rest compact suba little hard to set up if you don’t know what you’re doing since it requires less power

What i did was just get a fuse holder from autozone got a 15 amp fuse and some red 12 gauge wire one end to the battery and the fuse holder somewhere accessible inside the car

I grinder a bare metal spot on an already existing bolt hole nearby for my ground and then i wired the sub rca cables from head unit sub output to the sub

And generally the remote power is a blue or blue and white cable

After that the sub should cut on you might have to switch the auto turn on feature

This jbl is less than 12 the size fits under my truck seat and have every bit of the same punch the old generation basslinks had maybe more
