Pros

The sound quality is good, i'm a bit of an audiophile so i'm over critical on sound quality but for your average(+) music lover, the sound is great at a wide range. Great sound and the clarity is fantastic. Good rich bass & instrument separation.

It is waterproof and does float. It is quite heavy though but still portable. If you want to rock a party room, the jbl is ready to put that low-end right under your *!

Build quality is excellent, very sturdy and has some weight to it. Battery seems top tier.

This is the best speaker i’ve ever bought. This one…ugh good. This #3 is phenomenal.

Cons

The boombox 3 is not backwards compatible with other earlier models in party boost. I have small portable speakers that sound better than this thing and they are in the $100 - $150 price range.

A bit on the pricey side, but its worth it.

But for the used like new, a great bargain.

Competitiveness

It is similar to my jbl charge 3 in the way they are operated.

It seems like more reviews seemed to lean towards the sony ult 7, so i was a bit biased going in.
