Pros
The clip is nice and build quality is sturdy. Built in carabiner is strong, device has a nice sleek look. It's handy to clip onto things.
Music quality, vocals, immersive base from such small speaker. The sounds really resonates and has great treble and bass. Perfect for clipping onto backpack or belt loops for a day at the beach.
Cons
Power only lasts 6-7 hours and it's getting worse, the only solution is to carry around a battery pack but if you forget to unplug it or turn it off the power will drain untill both are flat. Unfortunately, past any opportunity to return for refund.
Sync new bluetooth device only requires a quick bump to unsync your phone. Device likes to cut out and randomly stutter. When it's clipped to my belt loop it constantly bumps the power button.
Poor design. The jbl lettering on the front is ostentatious. The sound of the speaker is just average.

It distorts at hi volumes but it a great buy for $79.
So, i was looking for something portable and not expensive.

Right off the box it paired easily to the phone and was ready to play.

This product is so much better than the jbl clip 4 that i had.
I initially got a cheaper speaker but i returned it when i did a sound comparison with my hubby's older jbl clip 3.
