Pros
The 4 has two speakers straddling the logo, whereas the 5 has one speaker.
Was given to daughter for christmas. Love this speaker. Highly recommend. Great gift idea.
Small, portable, easy to use and water resistant. And is water proof. Gives it some protection when transporting.
The sound quality is exceptional! A great way to enhance the sound when streaming from your phone or computer. Good sound quality but the battery life is not that long.
The battery life is exceptional. I use it mostly for a sleep app on my phone while its charging and it lasts all night. I also like that they no longer use micro usb for charging, and use the usb-c.
Cons
The advertised battery life is an exaggeration. The other downfall is you can’t continue to play while charging.

My exgf had the flip 4 which i always thought sounded tinny and unpleasant in the highs though its position on top of the fridge may have contributed to that
