Pros
Small, lightweight and loud. It screams pretty loud for hours. Good battery life.
The 4 has two speakers straddling the logo, whereas the 5 has one speaker. Love the slick design and the case, very handy. This speaker is top notch!
The battery life is exceptional. I use it mostly for a sleep app on my phone while its charging and it lasts all night. I also like that they no longer use micro usb for charging, and use the usb-c.
Love this speaker. Great price. Great gift idea. This one sounds better! Highly recommend. And thank you.
Cons
It is only a mono speaker and there is not a lot of high end. The advertised battery life is an exaggeration to say the least. The other downfall is you can't continue to play while charging.

My exgf had the flip 4 which i always thought sounded tinny and unpleasant in the highs though its position on top of the fridge may have contributed to that

I never used it and it sometimes caused issues because it would keep trying to sync to my speaker when i was trying to use my phone
