Pros

I am absolutely floored by the quality of this little speaker. Compared to my 6-year-old anker, the sound quality from this is outstanding. This speaker has a very nice sound and will work wonders for blasting in a home gym.

After seeing the in-person comparison, in size and battery life, it could have swung me. Curiously though, the 6 has the usb-c charging port exposed. The 6 has a 4800mah battery compared to the 3000mah on the 4.

The sound is so much clearer thanks to the addition of the tweeter. It still has the clear highs (even if they are a bit harsh) but it produces a fuller, more dynamic sound. The bass mid and treble are all crystal clear.

This works fantastically for classical music. However it is a bit strained if you listen to powerful electronica. It works every well with ambient music.

Cons

My jbl speaker no longer works with alexa. It has been paired with an echo device for over two months, but the bass is horrible! If you listen to songs sans bass, it sounds sufficient. Speakers in party mode can not be adjusted separately, so speakers... Read More

Too much rattling. Sounds like a stock system in a basic corolla. Over all disappointed in this purchase. Skip this trash & buy a ue boom.

Jbl has been able to put together a superior sounding portable bluetooth speaker at a reasonable price.

The jbl replaces my old trelab 77, which i had for a couple of years.

The 4 is rated ipx7 which is only waterproof/submersible, but not dustproof.

The 6 has a 4800mah battery compared to the 3000mah on the 4.
