Pros & Cons
Pros
This is an awesome sounding speaker. Others are my 360 sound speakers like earfun uboom, soundcore flare 2, tribit stormbox, and wonderboom 3.
It's size harkens back to the day when i scrounged around trying to come up with batteries to keep my transistor radio going. Waterproof is nice for poolside music. Water and dust proof makes them great for outdoors.
Compared to my 6-year-old anker, the sound quality from this is outstanding. The speaker is more than capable of being used while entertaining guest or for just everyday listening pleasure.
Cons
Good speakers but execution is poor in terms of features functionality. App to control speakers is slow glitchy and often fickle to use.
Product bricked after less than a month of use. Was expecting, realistically, around 9+. At most. Should have bought straight from jbl website. Major downgrade from flip 4.
Highlights
Quality
Purchased from amazon through gadget liquidators and very happy with the transaction and product.
Sound quality is amazing and pumps the bass!
The sound quality is not as expected.
I would suggest bose soundlink flex with almost the same price, but a better sound quality.
Competitiveness
Slightly more expensive so you just have to decide if you want to give up the smaller size for a bit more umph.

However the advertised jbl connect app which should allow for both party boost i think that’s what the multi link feature is called and the eq does not detect any jbl devices even though they are all connected to bluetooth perfectly fine

However if you want bass or listen to hiphop buy the charge 5 or a different speaker because the bass is really weak
